Have you ever wondered just what the distinction between "surrounding 1 only" and "surrounding 1 plus" was?

"1 only" (either above, or surrounding) means that there is a primary group of one charge and no secondaries.

"1 plus" means a single primary with secondaries.

If there is more than one primary, then the count includes primary and secondary charges.
